Can Extras talk to actors?
It is strictly not permitted to talk to the actors, ask for autographs, take photographs, or use recording equipment of any kind. This can result in you being dismissed immediately without pay. It is not permitted to bring a friend or family member with you, this also applies to costume fittings.

Do you have to memorize a monologue for an audition?
No. Casting directors realize you will learn your lines before the callback or shoot. So being a quick study and knowing your lines for the initial audition doesn’t give you a leg up over other actors. If you can learn your lines and be really solid for the audition then absolutely memorize them.
What documents do I need to register with Central Casting?
Everyone who registers with Central Casting must fill out an I-9 form and present the required I-9 form documentation. This is a crucial step in the registration process and you will not be allowed to register if you don’t bring the original unexpired documents.
How do I Register my child for online casting?
At this time, the online registration process is only for adults. Parents and legal guardians can register their minor by bringing them to a registration session at your local office. During registration, the parent/legal guardian will fill out paperwork and the child will have their photo taken for our casting platform.
