When did Woodford Leisure Centre open?

Situated in the east of the city approximately 15 minutes from the city centre on Holderness Road it the first phase opened its doors in 1982 and phase two in 1986. It was closed for approximately 18 months following the floods in 2007 in for extensive refurbishment. Woodford is situated in the Holderness Area Ward.

We are open. South Woodford Library and Gym is a recently refurbished library that includes a gym and studio, located on the High Road, South Woodford.

A dog drinking station is available on request. Our wetside (family changing village and leisure pool) changing areas will open as normal. Our dryside changing facilities remain closed due to refurbishment.
