The 2022 National Leadership Conference will be held on May 4-8, 2022 in Dallas, Texas. This conference is known as the ultimate event for our student members. More information about the national conference may be found on the National BPA website at www.bpa.org/nlc.

How can you join Fbla?
- Step 1: Find an Adviser. Every FBLA Local Chapter is required to have an adviser.
- Step 2: Recruit Five Chapter Members & Create an Executive Board. Each FBLA Chapter is required to have a minimum of five members.
- Step 3: Create Bylaws.
- Step 4: Create a Program of Work.
- Step 5: Set Officer and General Meetings Dates/Agenda.
What do you do in FBLA?
The purpose of FBLA is to provide, as an integral part of the instruction program, oppurtunities for students to develop vocational and career competencies and to promote civic and personal responsibilities. FBLA’s goals are oriented to: Develop competent, aggressive business leadership.
Who can join the FBLA?
Anyone in 9th-12th grade can join FBLA at the beginning of each school year. To join all you have to do is go to Ms. Mills, the Altavista FBLA advisor, and ask to become a member. Also, you can see any of the officers and ask to join. Dues are $20 and are due in October.
What to wear for FBLA?
Professional attire acceptable for official FBLA activities include: Males. Business suit with collar dress shirt, and necktie or. Sport coat, dress slacks, collar shirt, and necktie or. Dress slacks, collar shirt, and necktie. Banded collar shirt may be worn only if sport coat or business suit is worn.
