Why buy Lowrance activetarget™ live sonar?

As sonar technology continues to evolve with more accurate and higher-definition underwater views, anglers and boaters have come to rely on Lowrance for their marine electronics needs. See high-resolution images of fish swimming around structure and responding to your lure – as it happens – with new ActiveTarget™ Live Sonar.

What is a VT7 transducer used for?

Use VT7 and VT8 AC / DC Voltage Transducers allow isolation and conditioning of ac and dc voltages, converting to rms, mean or instantaneous outputs. The VT7 and VT8 series voltage transducers are designed to measure AC+DC and AC voltage in 1 phase, split phase and 3 phase systems.

How do you mount a Lowrance transducer to a trolling motor?

Many Lowrance transducers can be mounted to a trolling motor by a bracket specifically designed for the transducer. Others can be mounted using one of the standard trolling motor brackets. In a Shoot-Thru hull installation, the transducer is epoxied to the floor of a fiberglass boat, transmitting through the bottom of the hull.

How does a Lowrance fishfinder/chartplotter work?

For most Lowrance fishfinder/chartplotter installations, the transducer connects directly to the display. Some sonar technology, like ActiveTarget Live Sonar and StructureScan 3D, a module is included which connects the display to the transducer.
